The Coat of arms of Morocco is very peculiar.
The Moroccan royal coat of arms was introduced on 14 August 1957.
It was created by graphic artists Gauthier and Hainaut consisting of a pentagram representing the Seal of Solomon on a red background with the Cordillera of the Atlas Mountains topped with a rising sun with fifteen golden rays on blue field with the royal crown.
Supporting the shield are two lions representing the mythical Atlas lions, in the Moroccan imaginary they are synonymous with strength.
The inscription at the bottom is a phrase in Arabic that says:
“If you glorify God, he will glorify you” from the Quran, Verse 7, Sura 47.
In Arabic: In Tansourou Allaha Yansouroukoum.
