Not feeling good (my own private morgue)
Caro R, sono passati due giorni dal tuo suicidio, da quando hai attuato il tuo gesto insano. Così hai scelto di morire, e questa notizia mi lascia sgomento, non tanto per la tua morte in sé, non perché ti conoscessi di persona.
Mi sgomenta la gravità del gesto, il modo come hai voluto morire: nella casa di tua moglie, con rabbia, in silenzio.
Hai deciso di lasciarci con un cocktail micidiale di farmaci, insulina e veleno. E ti sei pure messo un sacchetto in testa per essere sicuro che la fine sarebbe stata certa.
Rimango ammutolito nel sapere che avrebbero voluto farti un tso, che il tuo capo, risparmiandoti questa gogna, ti avesse lasciato solo nella tua decisione benché gliela avessi annunciata proprio in faccia.
Lo so che nessuno sarebbe riuscito a farti calmare e a riportarti al raziocinio, ma qualcuno doveva pur farlo. Nessuno ha deciso per te quando sentivi infrangerti sulla tua stessa vita.
Sarebbe bastato così poco, un po’ di buon senso, era sufficiente che qualcuno sapesse per davvero ascoltarti e che dormisse accanto a te.
È brutto trovarsi da soli in queste situazioni di disperazione. Uno non dovrebbe neanche avere la possibilità di scegliere tra la vita e la morte. Non bisognerebbe mai varcare questo confine oltre il quale non c’è più rimedio.
Rispetto la tua scelta in silenzio, ti comprendo più di ogni altra persona e lo dico non per retorica.
Non capisco però la rabbia. Se era quella la tua scelta, dovevi morire in modo sereno.
Questo non te lo perdono.
Il senso di risentimento era plausibilmente giustificato: chiunque avrebbe provato ciò che sentivi nel cuore.
Ma la rabbia, no; perché non motivata nei confronti di chi ti amava, nemmeno verso te stesso.
Se ti avessi voluto un po’ più di bene, l’avresti lasciata in disparte e…
Avresti avuto il mio più totale consenso.
